Rewind Retro
THE PROCESS...
Rewind Retro is a fresh eBay identity created around a love of gaming, technology and retro hardware. The project transforms a standard seller profile into a distinctive mini-brand, combining playful gaming nostalgia with a polished, modern visual style.
The goal was to create a memorable identity that immediately communicates games, consoles and tech, while standing apart from typical eBay seller profiles. The branding needed to feel fun and nostalgic without relying directly on existing gaming characters or established brand identities.
We developed Rewind Retro, an energetic identity centred around an original retro-controller mascot. Bold pixel-inspired typography, vibrant 3D visuals and classic gaming cues create a recognisable aesthetic, while the “Games • Tech • More” tagline allows the brand to extend beyond retro gaming. The finished identity brings personality and consistency to the eBay storefront while giving pre-owned technology a new lease of life.
